Project Beginnings

Sedona, Arizona, United States
The original idea came from a woman we read about, who lost her son Ben. His mother, Jeannette MarĂ©, began fashioning bells as a therapy at first and then as a tribute. Twice a year they are hung around Tucson, with a note inviting those who find them to take them and let them serve as a reminder to spread kindness. It was kindness, after all - simple, everyday acts of human kindness - that had helped MarĂ© through the hardest days after Ben died. You are welcome to leave comments on where your charms “found” you and what it meant to you. You can also contact us at CharmedSedona@gmail.com or at Charmed Sedona on Facebook.

Broken Arrow

While my husband and I were hiking the Broken Arrow trail today (May 26) I discovered the Women of Sedona kindness charm. What a pleasant find! Or maybe it found us. Whichever, this event and the purpose of the charm added to our beautiful day. We had just been discussing how fortunate we are to be healthy and be able to hike in such an incredibly beautiful area that Sedona is. We will display our charm (northeast Florida) as a reminder to spread kindness to whoever and wherever we are and to simply pay it forward. As with a smile or a laugh, kindness is infectious and we will continue to spread our "infectious" caring and attitude.  Thank you for your activity and commitment in this regard. Our memories of Sedona will truly be strengthened by the charm and our own kindness spreading.  Sincerely,
Cherie
