Project Beginnings

Sedona, Arizona, United States
The original idea came from a woman we read about, who lost her son Ben. His mother, Jeannette MarĂ©, began fashioning bells as a therapy at first and then as a tribute. Twice a year they are hung around Tucson, with a note inviting those who find them to take them and let them serve as a reminder to spread kindness. It was kindness, after all - simple, everyday acts of human kindness - that had helped MarĂ© through the hardest days after Ben died. You are welcome to leave comments on where your charms “found” you and what it meant to you. You can also contact us at CharmedSedona@gmail.com or at Charmed Sedona on Facebook.

Found at High School...

I found my charm September 12 at the Sedona High School track. Early in the morning, I parked my car in front of a palmetto tree andsaw something sparkly.  Lo' and behold, a beautiful heart charm with
black beads dangled in the breeze.

I was reminded to spread kindness -- especially to myself, as I recuperatedfrom major eye surgery.

2.5 months after the surgery, my vision improved from legally blindto 25/20 vision.

Thank you for the love and kindness.
