Project Beginnings

Sedona, Arizona, United States
The original idea came from a woman we read about, who lost her son Ben. His mother, Jeannette MarĂ©, began fashioning bells as a therapy at first and then as a tribute. Twice a year they are hung around Tucson, with a note inviting those who find them to take them and let them serve as a reminder to spread kindness. It was kindness, after all - simple, everyday acts of human kindness - that had helped MarĂ© through the hardest days after Ben died. You are welcome to leave comments on where your charms “found” you and what it meant to you. You can also contact us at CharmedSedona@gmail.com or at Charmed Sedona on Facebook.

Geocaching Charms

Ah Ha! We found a new way to spread our charms through out the world! Geocaching! We put three into caches around Sedona and hope to hear from finders where they are from and where they might pass along the charms....or keep them! Lets hear from you Geocachers!

  1. Yay! My husband is a proud recipient of your special charm. He is an avid geocacher and felt so honored to have been led to this charm with such a lovely message. We are spreaders of kindness, and we are already planning on placing this charm in another cache that Mike puts out shortly. What a great idea - spreading kindness, compassion, and joy is what we are intended to do while spending time on planet Earth! Keep up the fantastic work; what a great way to build community!
